We’re relentlessly optimistic about what a small team can achieve. Through a lot of hard work, and with the help of people who believed in us, we have made a tangible difference to millions of people’s lives. And we certainly don’t plan to stop there.
THE ONE BRAND
One has a simple vision: A world in which everyone has access to clean and safe water, forever.
There are still 884 million people in the world living without access to safe, clean water. We know that we can’t change this overnight, but we can bring down this shocking number - one person at a time, one day at a time.
The brand was born in 2005 around a very simple idea: selling bottled water to fund water projects. The One Foundation works with carefully selected local partners around the world to implement life-changing programmes in sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene. Its unique strategic focus is to fund the expansion of water utility infrastructures into poor communities, ensuring universal access to safe, clean water. To end the reliance on aid for good.
So far, the brand has raised over £17 million, changing the lives of over 3 million people. One Gin was launched in 2017 on World Water Day as part of this journey, helping to raise £20 million by 2020.
Why the butterfly?
